Inspired by The Lemon Twigs Spring 2024 album rollout, I decided to create a tribute piece utilizing footage from their "A Dream Is All I Know" music video. I rotoscoped the figures and removed the background of the footage, proceeding to animate a bright, colorful, "dreamlike" scene around the bandmembers. With a little over 200 frames at 12 frames per second, I made 4-color Risograph prints of the contact sheets. I scanned these and reconstructed the animation, resulting in an extremely textured and disorienting reinterpretation of the source content.
